Well, the weather guys said on Monday we should know better where Ike was going, well... guess what? they don't!! It is all depending on the HIGH that is floating around. Well, I like to know what I'm gonna do before I have to do it, just A+ like that... sorry. So I'm sitting here acting like it's a normal day, laundry, making muffins, cleaning a bit, scrapping some and watching the tide rise already, that is a bit unsettling. Well, that's all we can do, we're hanging in another day!
All my friends, be safe and check in soon!

It's weird to be going about our business all the while knowing what could happen in a couple of days.
It'll also be weird going to school tomorrow knowing that Friday has been canceled in anticipation of Ike.
Be safe yourself!
School was canceled tomorrow too! Wow.
My mom mentioned that Seabrook has been advised to evacuate. What are your plans? It's so hard to know what to do when the sun is shining outside & the path can change on a dime.
My hubby works nights. He called on the way telling me about the craziness. Gas stations already out of gas, heavy traffic, people already evacuating!
Be safe.
Stay safe girl! Thinking of you and praying for you!
Hunker down, girl - looks like it's gonna be a bumpy ride!
No school tomorrow. We're just hanging out and watching the path, and if it seems to get closer and stronger, we'll do something then, but like you said, now we just wait and watch.
Remember when school days were cancelled because of snow.
Got your message about mandatory evacuations! Watching TWC for more info. Looks like "they" still can't make up their minds!
Watching and praying for you and yours for safety!
Oh, yes, I talked to Suzanne and they're headed out of town as of last evening! The kids are following!
Ya'll have probably already evacuated by now. Be safe! Check in when you can.
We are still here. Praying like crazy for all of us!
Thanks for visiting my blog! Hope you all stay safe! Darn mother nature!!

I went back and looked at your pix again. That's Nasa Road One. I see the Endeavor high rice. You're on the bay side. Was it condos? We've driven by there a few times because my in-laws live in El Lago. They are on the other side of Nasa One, and they didn't see nearly that much damage.
I am so sorry for all of your loss. Is there anything I can do? I had a friend who made it through the hurricane only to have her home destroyed by fire due to the carelessness of some relatives staying with her (candles). I feel very fortunate, and I really do want to help if I can. Please keep us posted! Email if you want.
