Snow one day and the Shuttle the next....what a week!
I hope most of you in the Houston/Clear Lake area were outside yesterday around noon... this is what was circling the city skies... I couldn't take my eyes off of it! Some of the overhead shots are from the NASA site. In one you can see how low the water is in the lake!
It was a perfect gorgeous day for a flyover!! Enjoy!

What a cool thing to see! I couldn't image seeing it IRL. Love your snow pictures down below in a post too.
That is pretty cool.
OH MY GAWDDDDD!!! That is awesome!!!
It's been a week, hasn't it?
I was so excited to be able to catch that sight! I happened to be in a portable at that time. We heard a loud roar and rushed outside to see it. Sadly, I didn't have time to grab my camera. Oh well, the memory will live on.
How cool is that? Love your snow photos, too!
You take some of the BEST photos, girl!!! I love this one, it looks like you're almost next to it.
You're an awesome photographer girl!!! When I was pregnant with DD I was sitting on the beach in Santa Barbara when a 747 with Challenger piggybacked fly over landing at Vandenberg AFB. Used to drive out to Edwards to hear that double sonic boomb and watch the shuttles land. When I moved back to Florida and they started landing at Cape Canaveral I heard the boomb one Sunday morning while tieing one of the kids shoes and knew exactly what it was. Some day you gotta hear that!!!
I bet it takes your breath away to see it. TFS!
Wow!! You got some great pics of this!!! TFS!!
